OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs other duties as necessary or as assigned.
  • Contributes to other process improvement projects as needed. 
  • Train new employees and re-train present employees as required.
  • Supports the vision, mission and Company principles.  Makes decisions in best interest of the Company and its customers. 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). 
  • Work experience in an industrial operations environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence through letters or email. Ability to communicate one-on-one, speak effectively before groups.
  • Computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, data entry, spreadsheet, etc.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
  • Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide.  Must have the ability to use conversions, work with different units such as weight, volume, density, distance, etc.

Other required personnel protective equipment may include hard hat, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, dust mask respirator, gloves, etc.
