Corporate Engineer

Education and Experience

·    Bachelor’s degree in engineering

·    Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in manufacturing with project management experience

·    Experience in Lean Six Sigma with Black Belt certification preferred.

·       Solid business acumen and a background enabling a detailed understanding of multi-functional business issues.

·       Working knowledge of EHS, Quality and manufacturing requirements for operations.

·       Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to acquire, assimilate, and analyze data from multiple systems and data sources using a variety of business intelligence and reporting tools.

·       Ability to put structure and discipline around defined processes. 

·       Project management skills including time management, planning, resource tracking, and data summarization, budgeting, and establishing workflow.

·       Detail oriented and able to manage milestones and deadlines. 

·       Results driven, flexible, and able to lead and influence across a matrix organization.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate within a global organization.

·       Strong computer skills especially with spreadsheet applications (MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Access).  SAP knowledge a plus.

·       Observant and thorough while auditing to identify critical issues needing attention and opportunities for improvement.

·       Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.

·       Ability to use statistical techniques and identify which ones are appropriate under various scenarios
