Job Summary
This position
Essential Functions
· Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and production capacity.
· Prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently to meet production timelines.
· Adjust schedules dynamically to account for material availability, machine capacity, and workforce availability.
· Ensure optimal production scheduling by understanding all aspects of production capability and capacity.
· Engage in continuous learning to enhance scheduling skills, both in physical and online training formats.
2. Coordination:
· Coordinate with multiple departments (procurement, planning, operations, customer service, logistics) to ensure timely availability of required materials and resources.
· Facilitate communication with the production team to ensure alignment with timelines and priorities, minimizing delays.
3. Inventory Management:
· Monitor inventory levels and manage reorder processes to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
· Ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and available on time to meet production needs without delay.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting:
· Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the production process.
· Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data-driven insights.
· Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, timelines, and capacity utilization for management review.
5. Problem-Solving:
· Address and resolve issues related to production delays, equipment failures, or material shortages, ensuring minimal impact on timelines.
· Make real-time adjustments to production schedules to maintain productivity and minimize downtime.
· Ensure that all production processes strictly comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
· Assist in implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and meet regulatory requirements.
7. Collaboration:
· Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including procurement, planning, operations, customer service, logistics, and others, to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
8. Other Duties as Assigned:
· Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support production operations and overall organizational goals.

- Production Planning and Scheduling: Proven experience in developing and managing production schedules.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process optimizations.
- Problem-Solving Skills to resolve production challenges.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge for process improvement.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with SAP and specialized scheduling software.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools for reporting and analysis.
- Project Management Experience to handle complex production schedules and team coordination.
