General Summary:
This position supports plant manufacturing by utilizing quality control standards, procedures, and statistical techniques in order to develop and maintain quality standards. Position applies fundamental knowledge of basic principles, theories and concepts of industry standards and practices to support the planning, coordination and direction of quality systems for continuous improvement within the plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the product's quality are in the line of Avient's standard specification and customers' requirement.
- Responsible to review inspection plan, testing method and ensure the COA are release correctly.
- Ensure the QC process are conducting smooth and in line the standard operation.
- Responsible for analysis system control in daily work and troubleshoots in method& instrument.
- Ensure to arrange the duty completed in time and provide the reliable results.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for any quality issues/customer complaint that arise during the production/quality process.
- Assist to review and ensure the production formulalation is sufficient and updated.
- Cooperate with production team, R&D and technology to solve the relative problems.
- Assist to solve customers' complaints issue for the production quality problem.
- Ensure a machine/equipment measuring has Calibrated/Verified that relate to production process or Quality system. Including preventive maintenance program.
- Cooperation with production department, warehouse to class the quality of products.
- Review/Update the ISO documents (Procedure, WI, Form) of Quality function.
- Ensure QA/QC support the company's strategic goals and business objectives, contributing to overall business performance.
- Participate in investigations into any safety incidents to understand root causes and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering

Physical/Environment Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office noise levels to loud.
