KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: 

Educational level:

·       Master’s degree or equivalent experience in chemistry/technology and/or business administration

·       Relevant training and education on marketing, finance and business

Knowledge and experience in own discipline:

·       Broad view on business steering models and business processes and 10 years experience preferably in PTO-related disciplines

·       Good analytical and conceptual capabilities

Managerial and social knowledge and experience:

·       Excellent communication and social skills

·       International working experience in complex value chains:

·       Excellent multi-cultural leadership skills

COMPLEXITY OF THE POSITION:

·       Managing international commercial (Sales) operation for CPP FC sub segment

·       Continuously reshaping the marketing strategy to cope with changing business environment, especially growing competition; fine tuning and steering the marketing mixes of the various platforms/PMC ’s, including the over-all pricing policy for portfolio, exchange rates, communication mix, etc.

·       Definition and management of applications and product portfolio in a rapidly changing business environment to meet GM goals

·       Coordination over and agreement with various disciplines and getting things done without the full hierarchical authority

·       Setting priorities and claiming/allocating resources in the whole, matrix oriented, organization with right balances between long and short term objectives

·       Shaping a new role in a highly dynamic organization and changing market

·       Creating business stability while working in a volatile market

·       Understand decision making process at customer/end user level

·       Maintain high level of understanding of changing dynamics of value chain

·       Complex market structure with multiple markets served

REQUIRED LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE:

·       Commercial experience from B2B market in an international environment.

·       Some experience with B2C

·       Relation building experience with large Global Accounts

·       Extensive global Sales knowledge and experience

·       Leading multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams

·       Preferably experience with commodity and semi specialty markets

·       Experience/ knowhow about new business models, and licensing models
