Global Tech Centre Manager
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Global Tech Centre manager is responsible for
1. The total output of all centers that report hierarchically and functionally to this position
2. Leading the centers in a dynamic business environment organization which means
optimal conditions and organization for Innovation projects and Marketing & Sales support
motivated and skilled employees at all positions at all levels
defined roles for all positions for all employees
optimize the allocation of manpower (incl. equipment) in line with the strategy of APM Innovation and the customers’ needs
coordination of all HRM, QESH, IT, F&C, security housing and other general issues.
3. Managing the needed quality of all activities in a shared responsibility with the local TC managers (incl. Innovation MT managers)
4. Managing the development and maintenance of the expertise including training/education, development, coaching of employees, career planning, networking, instrumentation etc.
5.Discussing and communicating with the Innovation MT members on relevant topics e.g. critical mass expertise’s, HRM issues (vacancies/career steps/appraisals) , costs , financing etc.)
6. Organizing a QESH performance leading to zero accidents, no work-related diseases (RSI, stress etc.), high SHE awareness and use or develop the best practices.
7.Stimulating all employees to come with new ideas, project initiatives, innovations/ improvements.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• You have a University degree in Engineering field, or strongly related fields.
• You have excellent communication and language skills in English (written and spoken).
• You have a customer-oriented approach with good technical, analytical and organizational skills. In your work you focus on results, and you are able to manage your planning and set priorities.
• You have a sense for detail but also for the big picture.
• You have strong communication, social skills and team spirit.
• High degree of self-initiative and flexibility.
