Process Specialist – Procurement Operations
Job Summary
Essential Functions
- Manage daily operations and work on end-to-end process improvement.
- Perform transactional activities of Operational Procurement (Spot buying/PR to PO/Vendor master data/Helpdesk service, etc.)
- Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the GBS function, ensuring the efficient handling of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement request which includes PR to PO conversion from initiation through to order fulfillment.
- Reporting expertise to extract reports from SAP as per requirements from Business.
- Coordinate with the vendors for deliveries and queries related to PO’s created.
- Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
- Conduct timely communication upon the inquiries from internal/external “customers”/concerned groups
- Follow the up-to-date operational procedures, and adhere to the standardized process landscape
- Support continuous improvement projects
- Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders
- Timely identify potential issues and make appropriate escalations
- Be proactive and creative in contributing ideas for service level improvement, deliver performance that meets or exceeds service level target requirements
- Operational compliance on all regulatory, internal/external guidelines and support on audit activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
· Bachelor, supply chain management or related field preferred.
Additional Qualifications
- · ERP system knowledge, SAP Mandatory.
- · Ariba/Coupa/Esker/FSCM knowledge can be a plus
