Production Lead Operator

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

·         High School diploma or GED equivalency.

·         Must be a Senior Operator or equivalent external experience in a Senior Operations role.

·         1-3 years of experience of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.

Additional Qualifications

·         Self-motivated with strong organization skills and ability to multi-task.

·         Time management skills 

·         Quantitative and statistical skills

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

·         Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes/material identifications. 

·         Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.

·         Must be able to effectively communicate one-on-one and in small group situations.

·         Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools, scales, hand trucks, fork lift, utility knife, and mixer/secondary machinery and computer equipment.

·         Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn the operation and set up of industrial machinery per operating procedures while following all training and plant procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and fumes or airborne particles.  The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office noise levels to loud.
