Quality Assurance and Control Manager
Job Summary
Position is an on-site position to manage the overall plant quality system and product testing.
Essential Functions
- Oversees the manufacturing-related processes are in control and that all product produced at the facility meets the requirements of the end-use customer.
- Ensures that process conditions are monitored and controlled for product consistency and according to the specified conditions.
- Ensures that products and process changes are made only according to the sequence of activities specified in the process.
- Oversees the testing in accordance with policies and that all product grading is accomplished in a timely and accurate manner.
- Represents the plant and Avient in all aspects of professional dealings with customers, the technology community and the commercial group. Resolves and communicates on customer complaints, and handles technical and quality questions from internal and external sources.
- Coordinates investigation and corrective action on all plant-related customer complaints.
- Assesses training needs and provides training to lab/production employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Equivalent Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Arabic and English.
