R&D Engineer Specializing in Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE)
Requirements:
- A master’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field - a PhD would be considered a advantage
- Five year or more prior experience in R&D and experiment
- Superior skills in technical writing and reporting, research and statistical analysis
- MS Office literacy
- Fluency in English (German would be considered a considerable advantage)
- An exceptionally conceptual mindset, eagerness to take initiative, good academic reflex and commitment to life-long learning, customer-centric approach
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with thermoplastic polymer processing, including internal mixing, twin-screw extrusion, injection molding, etc.
- Knowledge of polymer structure-property relationships
- Comfortable with polymer characterization/testing techniques
- Experience with elastomers is a plus
