QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

 

·       High School Diploma preferred

·       Associate’s degree (A.A.) or Licensed Journeyman in lieu of degree or commensurate experience preferred. 

·       Proven expertise in troubleshooting controls systems, electric components, pneumatic, instrumentation and mechanical devices. Proven expertise in industrial electrical, including design, sizing, installation and component level troubleshooting. 

·       Experience in other fields of maintenance such as plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, welding, forklift repair, etc. Competent PC (MS Office and Windows) computer skills desired.

·       Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and adjust to rapid changes 

·       Computer experience

§  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to:

§  moving mechanical parts

§  fumes or airborne particles

§  noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office noise levels to loud noise

§  Employees are required to wear mandatory PPE(8 to 12hrs per shift)which include:

§  hearing protection when on production floor

§  steel toe shoes/boots when on production floor

§  uniforms

§  specific gloves when performing specific tasks
