QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education and Experience

·       Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline

·       5-7 years’ experience as a human resources generalist , including interviewing, performance management, HRIS systems and leading others

Scope

This position supports a US Business Unit, including direct partnership with the BU General Manager and his staff, including several functions as Marketing, Manufacturing (with several manufacturing sites), Sales, R&D, among others. This position supports mainly US associates, but will also potentially act as the global HR liason for the Avient Design team. This position will be based in Avon Lake (Cleveland area), OH and will require travel between the various US locations for the BU, among other travel for meetings.

·       Requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods of time, talking and listening

·       Typical work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate

·       Will visit manufacturing sites and be required to walk the manufacturing floor
