Specialist, Plant Supply Chain
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Understand, promote and comply with all applicable regulatory, plant and corporate EHS policies.
- Working closely with Sr. Supply Chain Planner for inventory levels and execute purchase orders for raw
- Manage inventory investment throughout the chain to minimize working capital.
- Administer cycle count process, analyze data to create safety stocks, manage aged inventory lists.
- Forecast demand for vendors, balance supply with demand on a short term and long-term basis.
- Interact with production planners and plant schedulers to build consensus on supply strategy.
- Acts as focal point for CSR/Sales (customers) with respect to supply and demand issues.
- Support on daily activities with logistic forwarders and companies
- Manage the communication with customs through customs agencies
- Close collaboration with Finance Team to run the daily financial tasks both for logistics and vendor related
- Support Sr. Logistics Supervisor for all tasks related to logistics including import and export businesses
- Other projects/duties as assigned
General Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in, Industrial engineering, Business administration, foreign trade, Logistics or international relations preferable with Logistics focus
- Minimum 1 year of supply chain experience in logistics is an asset, experience in transportation types (road, sea, air, train) is preferable
- Knowledge for MS Office and outlook is a must , SAP is an asset
- Fluency in English, both written & spoken
- Has a Cross Functional - Problem Solving skills
- Has an analytical and negotiation skills
- Good Time/Priority Management
- High level reporting skill
