Sr Analyst, HRIS
Job Summary
The Senior HR Information Systems Analyst partners across the global organization to maintain, update and provide solutions related to the data in the global HRIS system (SAP). This position supports the Human Resources department with analysis and report generation, and provides training to global human resource employees and managers on system functionality and related processes. By creating and maintaining best in class global data processes and capabilities, this position helps enable our people to become a competitive advantage for Avient.
Essential Functions
- Collaborates with functional users and technical resources to develop and redesign business processes that align with the delivered functionality within the HRIS to drive improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintains, audits and updates the HRIS and ensures data integrity of employee records (includes tables, etc.).
- Works in a global team environment to define the technical and design specifications and serves as the liaison between functional users and IT developers.
- Researches, analyzes, evaluates, designs and recommends new or modified systems, equipment and software to meet changing requirements in support of human resources processes and workflow.
- Leads human resources systems testing on implementations, modifications, upgrades, updates and fixes.
- Generates retrieval of statistical summary reports from information systems, arranges data in spreadsheets to perform calculations and provides comprehensive analysis of employee records.
- Monitors human resources information needs in support of administration and projects.
- Works with IT and vendors to resolve programming and other HRIS issues.
- Gathers and analyzes data to provide specifications to IT for system modifications and interfaces.
- Communicates systems changes to impacted end users and provides necessary training globally.
- Owns and edits the human resources website to ensure consistency across groups and facilitate changes.
- Other projects/duties as assigned or needed.
- This position may be required to travel up to 10%. This position is global in scope.
