Job Specification – Team Lead, Business Services – StP

Job location: Pune

Job Summary
To control, monitor and prepare report releases in time and with full accuracy of tasks related to Sales / Finance / Operations / Production / NWC related area. To continuously seek out better ways of performing the processes and support process improvement initiatives. To successfully perform other assigned Analytics functions under the directions. To ensure standard procedures and work instructions followed and timely reviewed for improvement ideas. To coordinate with Global Process experts and workout new process, train and implement within team. To coordinate and establish analytics culture with cluster managers / team leads.
Candidate should be open to work in NORAM shift.
Essential Functions
Essential Function 1: StP Operations Management
• Perform Invoice processing/Payments, month end and reporting activities.
• End to End Accounts Payable and procurement knowledge and experience performing significant role in process and team handling.
• Prepare/Review the process reports published to clients
• Handle escalations by responding with corrective and preventive measures
• Lead Client/Service Calls and respond to queries.
• Ensure the deliverables are provided within the TAT.
• Sharing of best practices and working towards process improvements.
• Adherence to SSC India Project timelines
• Satisfactory audit rating achievement
• SLA Compliance as per the contract
• Adherence to Operations & Project budget
• Backup and development planning for team members.
Essential Function 2: People Management
• Prepare and run team meetings
• Plan overall team capacity
• Manage, motivate and develop staff
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team resources
• Coach team members and ensure they receive orientation and appropriate development opportunities
• Mid/Year end appraisal reviews & regular feedback to team members
• Regular updates to team manager on overall resources & process management
Essential Function 3: End-to-End process improvements
• Ensure adherence to internal and external guidelines as well as to a standardized process landscape
• Support process improvements initiatives and related projects
Essential Function 4: Relationship Management
• Respond to critical vendor and internal client inquiries (first level escalation cases)
• Maintain positive work relationships with members of other teams in and outside the SSC
• Establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
• Minimum: Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance / Accounting
• Desirable: A Chartered Accountant or MBA
Business Experience
Essential: 8+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable/Procurement/Accounting
Essential: 3+ years in supervisory function
Desirable: Working experience within a shared services center/BPOs
