Utility Group Lead

COMPLEXITY OF THE JOB:

The Utility Group Lead will operate within the Greenville organization.  The Group Lead’s decisions will have substantial impact on the stability and quality of our production processes. Ability to make timely judgment calls is critical to sustaining efficient operations. Deliberate communication with technicians is another critical function of position.

KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

BS/BA in related technical field with 1 year manufacturing experience; OR AA/AS degree in related technical field with 2 years manufacturing experience; OR high school diploma with 3 years manufacturing experience.

REQUIRED LEVEL OF EXPERIENCES:

·         Knowledge of appropriate safety procedures

·         Knowledge of changeovers/cleaning/set-up, work instructions

·         Knowledge of typical utility system operations associated with fiber manufacturing processes.

·         Ability to perform mathematical computation; problem solving.

·         Knowledge of performance standards.

·         Effectively gain cooperation from others.

·         Basic technical skills & knowledge.

·         Ability to use PC and DCS systems, programs, and software.

·         Ability to maintain accurate records.

·         Ability to constantly produce at established production rates.

·         Ability to follow verbal or written directions.

·         Ability to read gauges, dials, meters and set controllers

·         Ability to coordinate hand-arm manipulations
