HRIS Analyst
Job Summary
The Oracle HCM, Analyst, is responsible for providing solutions to questions or problems regarding the data and processes maintained in Avient Corporation’s Oracle Cloud HCM global system. This position will support the HR department and be responsible for the technical aspects of the system. This is an opportunity for an individual who should have experience in problem solving, design, development, data analysis, and complex data integrations within the Oracle HCM modules. By creating and maintaining best in class global data processes and capabilities, Oracle HCM Analyst, helps enable our people to become a competitive advantage for Avient. This position is global in scope.
Essential Functions
- Technical tasks include BI Publisher Reports, Integrations, Approval workflows, Fast Formulas, Value Sets, and HCM extracts.
- Conducts and helps coordinate HR systems testing on implementations, modifications, upgrades, updates, and fixes.
- Determine project requirements and provide technical guidance as needed to team members
- Support & troubleshoot critical issues, root cause analysis, and recommend enhancements. Monitors human resources information needs in support of administration and projects.
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Conversions, modifications/customisations, and Interfaces to/from Oracle HCM Cloud
- Other projects/duties as assigned or needed.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in computer science, business, information systems, human resources, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in human resources information systems or relevant work experience preferred (internship experience applicable).
- Knowledge of the Oracle Fusion HCM Application Modules - Global HR, Talent, Compensation, Payroll, Absence Management, and Time & Labor.
- Must have good working experience with HCM Extracts, OTBI/BI Publisher, and SQL
- Must have good working experience in Developing Fast Formulas, Value Sets, HCM data loader, and personalization using VB Studio.
- In lieu of required years of experience, a successful individual in this role will show a strong desire for discovery of knowledge and appetite for learning.

Physical Demands
- Requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods of time, talking and listening.
- Must be able to walk and use hands.
- Typically work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate.
